not the most prolific blogger am i? well who reads this bloody stuff anyway, not me i have a life.
anyway i've reached a big milestone this year,yep i've hit the big 4 0 and god do i now feel it!
bloody age , its nothing but a state of mind anyway and what a state my minds in.
still holding down a job despite the economic turndown, new management at the top brings new problems.....but there is light at the end of the tunnel..........arrrgh its a train

God damn....2009 starts in the vein that 2008 finished off!

well one month into the new year and already i'm fighting for my job!
It was a close run thing but out of 4 electrical engineers one of us had to go and our junior engineer lost. hats off to the lad , when asked what he was going to do he just said "sledging" and left with a smile on his face.
he knows who he his and its been a pleasure to be in his company for the last few years, i wish him all the best.
As for other news from the worlds worst engineering company(well west yorkshires worst at least) it seems that once you get to director level you get promoted every time you make a cock up rather than fired. If we thought we were in trouble before we now have a complete numpty at the helm("ice burge ? i didnt even know i was steering" comes to mind).
never mind at the very least it makes for an interesting life whilst we cower in fear for his next "great" idea.
